The Opportunity

Our tailored framework solutions are offered to councils, local authorities, parish councils, the blue light industries, central government institutions for regional and national construction projects, as well as utility and civil engineering focused construction projects.

The Position

We are seeking a national sales leader, a consummate professional that is accustomed to driving sales growth via a UK-wide external sales team. You will be responsible for driving a 3–5-year growth strategy that incorporates the growth of existing public sector clients, acquisition of new clients, and collaboration with existing partners (contractors) and their client acquisition teams. You will be responsible for input into future growth strategy, with regular reporting on current business pipeline, market movements, client challenges and assisting with operational input to ensure successful project completion.

The Candidate

We’re looking for a Business Development Director to join our Frameworks Team and create a real impact by leading our team to drive the continued growth and success of the SCAPE Group and its subsidiaries.

We are seeking a proven sales leader with a strong level of experience working in the construction sector. You must be familiar with and possess knowledge of public sector frameworks. It is anticipated that you will either have experience of working for a major contractor or consultancy with direct exposure to public sector procurement projects in civil infrastructure or utilities, or other national construction projects. We would also be interested in hearing from proven national sales managers that have experience promoting framework procurement solutions.
