Kineton High School Science Faculty
Project value: £3.25m
Sector: Education
It has provided a modern environment for the teaching of science, one of our most successful curriculum areas of the school. The building itself is inspirational, changing colour during the day as the sun moves around the sky."

Helping Kineton High School meet its top priorities of improving its facilities and attracting new students.
Warwickshire County Council, like many authorities, is committed to improving the quality of educational buildings in the county.
This project, delivered by Jeakins Weir, has been commissioned to replace seven dilapidated mobile classrooms with a specialist science block. The top priorities for Kineton High School are to dramatically improve its facilities and attract new students, so this project provided the perfect opportunity to do just that by laying the foundations for the future growth of the whole school. Our team is preparing the whole site so this first phase can be easily mirrored, creating even more inspiring learning spaces.
Our team is helping the school achieve its aspirations by giving them seven specialist labs and one multi-use classroom, all housed in a strikingly clad building that will be a real focal point for the whole school.
There will be a canopied plaza where students can meet as well the refurbishment of parts of the main school whereby old labs will be converted into general teaching classrooms, access will be greatly improved and circulation spaces, such as corridors, made brighter.
