Our support for charity

Our charities

Each year, the SCAPE Group of companies nominate a charity for our team to support. Nominated by a team member, and selected by our shareholders, this year we’re proud to be supporting two charities.

Throughout all of 2025, we are raising funds for Switch Up and Young Lives vs Cancer.

About Switch Up

Switch Up offers support to Nottingham's young people, children and young adults to help break the cycle of offending and reoffending.

The team at Switch Up provide tried and tested mentoring techniques and physical training to engage Nottingham’s youth in positive activities to steer them away from the circle of crime and gang-criminality.

Switch Up deliver a wide range of essential services for young people, including mentoring, counselling, accredited non-formal education, personal development workshops, and through-the-gate resettlement mentoring for those serving custodial sentences.

Their programs have helped many young people make positive changes for their future.

This year, we are committed to fundraising efforts to support the services they can provide to the community.

About Young Lives vs Cancer

Young Lives vs Cancer support children, young people (0-25) and their families find the strength to face everything cancer throws at them.

Young Lives vs Cancer ensures that every family has the support they need to navigate the challenges of cancer. They provide financial grants to parents and young people struggling with treatment costs and work tirelessly to keep families together in their free Homes from Home, located near hospitals where children or young people are receiving treatment.

Their compassion and support make a significant difference to families facing this tough journey, ensuring that no one has to face cancer alone.

This year, we will be fundraising to support the essential services they offer.
