SCAPE will be attending and speaking the Social Value Conference 2025, hosted by Social Value Portal. This year’s theme, Mission Critical, focuses on tackling society’s biggest challenges through purposeful partnerships, procurement, and social value delivery.

Session Title: How to use the Procurement Act to Strengthen Social Value Delivery

Session Overview: Join Alison Ramsey, Senior Social Impact Manager here at SCAPE, as she chairs an expert panel exploring how the Procurement Act can be used as a powerful tool to strengthen social value delivery. With the Act requiring at least three KPIs on contracts over £5m, the discussion will focus on how contractual levers can drive greater accountability, transparency, and meaningful reporting of social value outcomes. Alison will be joined by Terry Brewer (Head of Public Sector Delivery, Social Value Portal), Tim Rudin (Head of Central Responsible Procurement Team, Greater London Authority Group), Michelle Wiggins (Head of Social Value, Amey), and Ben Pollard (Tussell) for this engaging online session designed to equip delegates with practical insights and approaches to embedding social value through procurement.

With a wealth of data and emerging trends now available, the panel will examine the metrics and share perspectives on the crucial question: what does ‘good’ really look like when it comes to social value? Chaired by Gus Tugendhat, Founder of Tussell, Caroline will be joined by Tricia Blatherwick (Chief Evangelist, AutogenAI), Rob Wolfe (Managing Director, CHY Consultancy), and Nathan Goode (Chief Knowledge Officer, Social Value Portal) for this engaging and thought-provoking discussion.
