SCAPE will be attending and speaking at the Social Value Leaders’ Summit 2026, a key industry event bringing together leaders from across the public, private and social enterprise sectors.

The Summit will explore how procurement can be used to deliver meaningful social value, with a focus on practical implementation and the impact of the Procurement Act one year on.

Attendees will hear from expert speakers from across sectors, combined with interactive workshops where participants can share their own experiences and insights. A focus of the Summit will be on practical tips and peer learning – looking beyond theory to bring real examples and learnings from practitioners on the coalface.

Join Alison Ramsey, Senior Social Impact Manager at SCAPE, as she chairs the roundtable discussions at the Social Value Leaders’ Summit 2026.

Designed to encourage open and practical conversation, these sessions will bring together leaders from across sectors to share perspectives and explore some of the most pressing challenges in delivering social value today.

Session One: Barriers to embedding social value

13:00 – 13:45

The first session will focus on the key barriers preventing social value from being effectively embedded within procurement and project delivery.

Through structured discussion, each table will identify the top three barriers and explore why, despite strong intent and policy direction, social value does not always translate into meaningful outcomes.

Session Two: Accountability gaps in delivery

13:45 – 14:30

The second session will examine what happens after contract award exploring why social value commitments can often lose momentum during delivery.

Discussions will focus on:

  • Accountability and ownership
  • Contract management and monitoring
  • The gap between commitments made at tender stage and real-world delivery
