South Coast CPS | Leadership Lunch at The Jetty

Taking place at The Jetty in Ocean Village as part of the South Coast CPS Boat Show programme, the event will provide an opportunity for senior leaders to connect, share insight and discuss the opportunities and challenges facing the region.

With devolution, local government reorganisation, housing delivery, infrastructure investment and economic growth set to shape the region over the coming years, this year’s leadership discussion, The Road to 2028, will explore the leadership, partnerships and investment needed to deliver the homes, infrastructure and economic growth Hampshire and the Solent needs.

The discussion will also draw on insights from SCAPE’s Delivering Through Change research, examining the challenges and opportunities facing public sector delivery and how organisations can work collaboratively to navigate change and deliver for their communities.

Hosted by Vanessa Good, Business Development Manager at SCAPE, the panel will bring together senior voices from across the public and private sectors, including:

• Caroline Compton-James, Deputy Chief Executive, SCAPE
• Meg Carter, Executive Director for Sustainable Communities, Bath and North East Somerset Council
• Louise Sunderland, European Head of Cities and Places and London Region Director, Mace

The informal lunch will include a drinks reception overlooking Ocean Village Marina, a three-course lunch and the leadership panel discussion, providing an opportunity to hear different perspectives and continue conversations around the future of the region.

Following the lunch, delegates will also have the opportunity to attend the Southampton Boat Show and continue conversations throughout the afternoon.
