SCAPE and their delivery partner, Morgan Sindall Construction, continue to work together on projects that help tackle the climate emergency. Our aligned targets and objectives for building a sustainable future in our communities has helped multiple clients in achieving powerful steps towards sustainable construction.

Morgan Sindall Construction has kept environmental sustainability as a core focus for their business; producing intelligent solutions as part of their projects that work towards decarbonising communities.

SCAPE is proud to work with Morgan Sindall Construction; a partner that became the first UK contractor to achieve validated science-based goals and continues to be a purpose-led organisation with sustainable construction as core to their culture.

SCAPE and Morgan Sindall Construction both achieved CHAMPION level of compliance within the Carbon Reduction Code for the built environment in 2022. This is the highest achievement that recognises both companies’ commitments to reducing carbon emissions.

Morgan Sindall Construction’s Bold Carbon Reduction Strategy

Morgan Sindall Construction released their Decarbonising Communities carbon strategy in 2021. This ongoing strategy is in place to help clients achieve environmental targets whilst driving the company’s ambition of Net Zero Carbon by 2030.

Morgan Sindall Construction have pledged to keep their focus on reducing carbon emissions within the supply chain; through this, they continue to map out science-based benchmarks to reduce whole life carbon on all projects.

Their commitment within Decarbonising Communities strives towards meeting the 1.5-degree global warming target alongside other government requirements for Net Zero 2030.

Morgan Sindall Construction uses their intelligent carbon calculation tool, CarboniCa, to support this approach. This tool enables project teams to predict, control and minimise whole life carbon emissions for their clients.

Our framework partner strongly prioritises carbon reduction in all operations and aims to reduce the use of non-renewable resources so clients can achieve their sustainable targets with future projects.

Life Cycle: Supporting you to build a low carbon future
