Live Procurement Update
The Built Environment Consultancy Services and the National Construction frameworks will play vitally important roles in supporting the public sector over the coming years. They have been designed to deliver a diverse set of skills and services to the public sector, at a significantly increased capacity and to ensure that a variety of projects can be delivered successfully across the United Kingdom.
In fact, due to recent events and an ongoing consultation with the market, we have taken the decision to increase the value of Lot 5 in our National Construction framework (Principal Works – Projects Valued at £50m+) from £1.5bn to £2bn. This will provide additional capacity for a larger volume of schemes of this size to be delivered.
Undoubtedly there will be ongoing challenges that lie ahead in the coming weeks and months. We will continue to closely monitor developments as the Government reveals its strategy to protect and grow the UK economy. Should any variations to our business model be required in the future, then we will ensure that our response will be both inclusive and decisive.
True success will be defined by the public and private sectors embracing collaborative working. Uniting under a common objective will be critical in ensuring that public bodies have access to the best tools to help them build a Britain fit for the future.
We are fully committed to playing our part in this.
