The project comprised the recladding, complete refurbishment and extension of an existing 3 storey 1970's building in the heart of the main campus in Middlesbrough to create a new central location for the Teesside University Business School.
The University is one of the region’s largest employers, with more than 2,300 members of staff, catering for 18,500 students and generating £135m in revenue.

The building provides modern office space accommodating 45 members of staff and offers a range of student-centred and student-led spaces, providing information and services to inspire and empower success in learning and life.
The building is a technology-enabled environment, supporting a variety of learning styles, activities and attendance patterns. It offers a range of flexible spaces, syndicate rooms and a café, enabling social and collaborative learning.
The University has worked with Willmott Dixon on a number of high profile and ambitious projects and we are always impressed with their professionalism, dedication and attention to detail. The Business School is a major new development in our wider Campus Masterplan which was delivered on time, on budget and to the satisfaction of all parties."
