National Construction framework - now live
This framework has been designed to deliver projects of any size or scope to cater for the changing needs of the UK public sector.
As with all of our frameworks, services delivered through our National Construction framework partners and their supply chain partners are governed by a rigorous performance management process, to ensure that projects and commissions are quality assured, deliver significant socio-economic impact and represent value for the public purse.
Following a robust procurement process, four highly regarded contractors, have been appointed to lead the National Construction framework. We welcome Willmott Dixon, Robertson, Wates and Lendlease as appointed lead contractors, supported by a supply chain network of over 70,000 SMEs.
The competition for this framework was fierce, and the calibre of bids extremely high. Willmott Dixon, Robertson, Wates and Lendlease evidenced the right blend of quality and value offers, along with the expertise and capacity to deliver the diverse needs of the public sector both now and in the future.
Mark Robinson, SCAPE Chief Executive
The new framework structure offers enhanced levels of capacity and a comprehensive mix of skills and expertise to support the ongoing construction requirements of the public sector across the United Kingdom. The National Construction framework (see the chart below) has five distinct frameworks, designed to offer an element of choice, with separate frameworks designed to deliver services by geography and value band.

The National Construction framework is fully managed by the team at SCAPE Procure. Within the regions, our delivery teams are locally based, ensuring that local knowledge and expertise is embedded into every project. At a central level, framework and partner performance will be led by Sam Bacha, senior construction frameworks manager and supported by the National Construction framework management team.
With the current value of active projects for the National Construction framework at £500m and a further pipeline of activity valued at over £900m, we are delighted by how quickly our clients are engaging with the framework. We've also seen some strong levels of collaboration between our partners, with each being happy to share ideas and tools that will ultimately benefit our clients.
