Mark Robinson

In the role of Group Chief Executive of the SCAPE Group, I lead the strategic direction and growth of our subsidiary businesses including SCAPE and SCAPE Scotland Frameworks, Arc Partnership, Lungfish Architects and Construction Waste Portal.

SCAPE Group is one of the leading UK built environment organisations, delivering high-profile projects across the UK, providing exceptional value for our clients. Our procurement frameworks manage over 2,300 live projects with a combined buying power of £25bn.

I serve as a Trustee and Board Director of the UK Green Building Council (UKGBC), Board Director at Build UK, and Industry Chair of the Construction Leadership Council. With these roles, I am passionate about advocating for change within the built environment through engagement with local and central government.

In addition, I’m a Non-Executive Chairman at The Build Chain, where I leverage over 35 years of industry experience to provide strategic advisory support.

My career began as a YTS apprentice, followed by two decades in Local Government across construction operations, strategic planning, and procurement. I later led the creation of an arms-length management organisation in the housing sector and spent 8 years representing the UK in the European Union on procurement and local enterprise.
